Dan Oelke

I am an adjunct lecturer here at University of St. Thomas, teaching one section of CSIS-625. Besides being very interested in communications and networks of all types, I have strong skills and interest in software engineering, Object-Oriented development techniques, data compression, and data encryption. Lately one of my pet projects has been to develop a software package to detect plagiarism in submitted student papers.

Besides being a part time professor I am also a software engineer currently working for Banner Engineering.

CSIS 625 Class notes:

I used to put all class notes on this web site. St. Thomas has since adopted the Blackboard software package, so I use that to post class notes, assignments, etc. for the current class. If you have currently enrolled in this class you should be able to use this direct link to the course. You will have to log in using your St. Thomas username and password.

I still put my lecture notes from past classes on this site. As I teach this class I keep refining my notes and they change less and less.

If you have any questions - please email me.
